Hello again!
Tonight will be short and sweet as I am totally exhausted! Today was actually the first break we’ve had all week. It was kind of nice not to do anything.
This week we have moved the majority of the stuff from the old office to the new one. However, we didn’t have any of it in put away yet, so the first day of business at the new office was a little hectic. Everyone was running around looking for the parts to ship out! So we stayed after work and started stocking the shelves with the inventory. And we did that every day since!
Kai & Koa love going to “daddy’s office” or “daddy’s building”. I’ve tried very hard to make it a place they want to go to. I am in the process of making their play room an irresistible place for kids! I’ve stocked it with tons of stuff from the movie Cars, which incidently is Kai’s favorite movie ever! We also have cable tv set up in just that room. I will also paint the room with magnetic paint and chalkboard paint so they can draw on the walls and play with magnets. When its done it should be a FUN room!
So I guess undoing something I did the week before is kind of a theme I’m developing now! You know the sand box in my truck bed? Yeah, I had to shovel it out this week. The idea originally was to unload it whole at Bill’s office onto a crate so we could move it around on a forklift. However, I had driven through a car wash forgetting about the sand in the back so it was even heavier than it was dry! Even if it was just dry, I don’t think we could have moved it! So I shoveled it out into our yard filling in holes left by Bill (which happened when he drove through it with our truck and got stuck right after we had leveled it and laid sod after we moved in 3 years ago). I’d been meaning to do that for awhile now, so this was just the motivation I needed. Now I will put a crate in the truck bed, and put the new sandbox on top of it so we can remove it at Bill’s office. Live and learn, right?
Well, I started this on Sunday, so does that count? I guess as long as I write once a week I’m still staying true to the spirit of my goal!
Tata for now!
